Mercedes Benz repair: fuel filters oxy sensor replacement, mercedes benz 190e, 1990 mercedes benz 190e

Hello, I'm replacing the fuel filter(s) on a 1990 mercedes benz 190e 2.6, I believe the filter is located near the fuel tank can I replace these without disconnecting anything else?Also the oxy sensor do I need special tool? thanks Greg

Warning Fire hazard:
Use great care, you will be working with the fuel tank output line = getting an unwanted bath in gasoline + spark = possible death.

The filter R&R can be very nasty, if there is corrosion.
The filter and pump are located under the car by the fuel tank; it is three line bolts and a bracket.

You need a special tool for the O2 sensor; your local generic auto parts store should have it.
