Answer
Duane: I am not sure what you are talking about could you explain this "computer box" a bit more and what are you trying to replace? Are you talking about the computer? Holy cow man, to keep buy a new computer has got to be costly. Please don't tell me you are buy used computers say from a friend or a junked car. Because you must get the right computer for your car, make and model well year too.If you do have a short someplace, you will need to get a repair manual(any parts store will sell them, they cost around $20.00) for your car and then buy a voltmeter, Sears sells some good ones not to costly but other places sell them too, you will then have to go around the car, checking things on the voltmeter the repair manual will give you the right readings you should be getting. Till you get a wrong reading and find your short. Oh by the way when you buy a repair manual get a Haynes one they are the best I think. Less models and years in them. God bless: Linda
