Mitsubishi Repair: engine miss, stop sign, air conditioning

on our 01 gallant when we are at a stop sign with the air conditioning on when we accelerate the  engine hesitates. also when we are on the highway with the air conditioning on it seems to have slight hesitations every two miles or so.

Dan: When is the last time you did a good tune up on that car? The air conditioning takes a lot of power to run it. I would also check to see how the belt looks, it could be slipping some and then last I would have the air conditioning checked, could be the conpresser is needing some work.
