Mitsubishi Repair: busted Mitsubishi Montero 98 windshield wiper., mitsubishi montero, windshield wiper

Question
I have s Mitsubishi Montero Sports98' . and my windshield wiper is not working
when  I turn on  the wiper control.... However, if I leave it on and with my other
hand help it swipe againts my windshield but just for a couple of turns.... Seems  
like the motor of my windshield wiper is busted..... Do you have any suggestions
how to fix it.  Would that be costly also????  thnks

Jess: You need to change the wiper motor, it is really not that hard of a job but for the cost I am not sure as cars are different. You need to buy yourself a repair manual for your car, most parts stores have them for around $20.00. I like Haynes as they have pictures and will walk you through things. While getting that repair manual you could ask what a wiper motor for your car will cost from the parts store. Don't think it will cost that much. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
