Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi shogun & wet weather, mitsubishi shogun, windshield wipers

Question
Hi,i own a Shogun Equippe SWB and when driving through large puddles it throws the water up onto the windscreen as if someone has thrown a bucket of water onto it???
A bit frightening to say the least and more so for any passengers as vision is completely obstructed for a few seconds. Previously owned a 2.8 shogun LWB which also done this. Have you heard of this before? is there a solution?

Answer
Elaine: No sorry I have not heard of any way to fix this. I guess try to miss some of the deeper puddles and I know that is not easy. They do have some larger windshield wipers that you might try to see if that helps at all. I have heard of this before but in most cases it is the shape of the car and really not much to do about it. Other than larger wipers if you can get some to fit your car, try to miss the puddles or maybe try slowing down some as you hit them. I know it can be kind of scary when this happens. It is kind of like driving a small car and one of those large trucks blows water all over your car. You can not see anything for a few seconds. Short of not going out when it rains, I am sorry there is not much else you can do. I hope this helps some and good luck! ~Linda~
