Mitsubishi Repair: 1992 Diamante power window problem, fuse box, window button

i am helping a friend with their car and could use some advice as to where to start (and finish)  the power windows will not work.  i checked the fuse box under the hood and switched out the fuse with one i'm sure works, still have the same problem.  the rest of the electrical seems fine.  what to do?

Jason: You will have to pull the inside panel off and check to see if the windows have come off the their track. When you turn on well push the power window button can you hear the motors humming? The system consists of the control switches, the motors(regulators), glass mechanisms and associated wiring. You could have a wire broke off though you have power going to the window, with the wire broken no power is getting to the motor, switches. Or again you could have a loose connections. And then my manual says as I did the window could be off the track or binding. I do hope this helps some and good luck! ~Linda~
