Mitsubishi Repair: 1997 eclies, spark plug wires, sound car

my eclipes stalls when i come to a complete stop and makes a funny sound just before stalling, if i'm driving no sound car runs great.

Hello Kari,

If it's been a while since you've had a tune up I'd suggest that be done first. Change, or have changed, the spark plugs, the distributor cap and the distributor rotor. With the age of the vehicle, you may want to change the spark plug wires, too.

Other possibilities could be a need for new fuel and/or air filters.
