i drive a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse gt. what does the code thing mean when it appears on the radio, my battery died and i recharged it then the radio said code and im not sure what that means

Talen:You need to get the book that came with your car, and reset the radio. Anytime you change the battery or do anything with the battery in which it is unhooked from the car. The radio will need to be reset is all. Such as in my car, the radio I have did not come with the car.. it is one I put in it myself. So when I change the battery, I always have to reset the clock. It is no big deal, just get the book that tells you about the radio and just reset it. Hope this helps and good luck!
