Mitsubishi Repair: 99 mitsubishi eclsipe, power steering pump, intermittent problem

Question
Help!...We had my sons timing belt replaced on his 99 eclipse.  Ever since then we have had an issue with the a/c power steering belt coming off.  It started as an intermittent problem, every couple of months or so, now it is every other day or so.  We have had the power steering pump, balancer, all pulleys and tensioner, replaced.  I think that is everything.  We are at a loss of what is causing this and the problem is still there.  Thanks

Answer
Debra:Have you checked the belt it's self? Maybe you need to try a smaller belt. How about whoever put the new timing belt on? I mean you had no problems with this before the new timing belt. So I would say maybe whoever put that on, did not get something back on right. The car is trying to tell you that the it was either not put back together right or else the timing belt is not set right. I know it is very hard on some cars to see and find those marks you need to get that timing belt set right. So I would take it back to the shop that did the work, and tell them your problem. Get them to fix it. Because everything was ok till they put that timing belt on. Hope this helps and good luck!
