Mitsubishi Repair: 1995 EAGLE SUMMITT(MITSUBISHI ENGINE), liter engine, mitsubishi engine

I have a 1995 eagle sumitt with a 4 cylinder 5 speed fwd engine. I am trying to figure out what the engiine size is because a need to change my water pump. How do I tell if it is a 1.8 or a 2.5 liter?.

The 95 Summit came with either a 1.8 liter or 2.4 liter engine.  Your car has the 2.4 liter engine.  I found that out from the VIN you provided.  But you can can also find out by looking at the valve cover on your engine (it usually says it on there) and there are also stickers under the hood and on the firewall that should say it as well.  Your owners manual may also indicate your engine type.
