Motorcycle Repair: 1985 250sx atc, shift linkage, clutch release

i have a 250sx honda atc i need help. when i got it it needed a centrfical clucth got one put it on it ran and shifted good . had oil leak took right cover off put new gasket on .found the shift pin broken replaced it too now it wont shift right .it goes in reverse good but not the rest of the gears can help.

Toby, Its possible that when the cover was removed to repair the clutch that the shift linkage was not quite lined up and the pin got jammed. When the cover was pulled to inspect the leak and you noticed the pinthat was probably the clue. In the cover is an adjuster to line up the linkage for the shift shaft and the clutch release mechanism.
