Porsche: Fuze location on a 1983 928S for the electric door locks, electric door locks, amp fuse

I know that the small fuses for the electric door motors are behind the fuse block on the 928, but where bouts are they located back there?  To the right top or the left.  How can I access them without tearing everything up?

Hi Bill,

I must admit that this question lies well outside of my area of expertise. However, as I work at a Porsche dealership (in Mass.) I ran your question by a technician here today. We happen to have an '83 928S sitting in our service area (for years now!). Unfortunately, without tearing the car apart we couldn't determine beyond what you already seem to know. The wiring diagram is not much more clear than that it is behind. It does seem to indicate that it's a .4 amp fuse. We couldn't help but wonder if that's just a fuseable link rather than a "fuse"? Anyway, good luck. If you're in or near Mass. we'd be happy to dig further into your car for you.
