Motorcycle Repair: Clutch bleeding, honda vf750c magna, clutch slave cylinder

Question
I just read "falcon's" how to on clutch bleeding. In it he referenced a V65 magna. Is the situation the same for a 1982 V45 750 magna and where is the "panjo fitting"
Also, supposedly the previous owner used a synthetic fluid in the clutch system. Will it be a problem if I go back to the dot3 fluid?

Answer
Bruce, the "banjo fitting" is the fluid hose joint on the end of the hose where it connects to the master cylinder.

If Dot 5 fluid was used previously, either continue to use that or you will have to flush the entire system with alcohol, so that the two fluids don't mix in the system.

The end of the fluid line, which connects to the clutch slave cylinder is behind the left engine side cover in above illustrations.
