Motorcycle Repair: General question-electrical, start button, solenoid

General question - I started my bike and the "Start" switch got stuck while the bike was running. I didn't notice until about a minute or so. I then turned the bike off and and it will not start. When I open the key, all the lights turn on but when I hit the start button i get nothing - no noises, nothing. Solenoid replacement???

Could be the solenoid, but if the starter was spinning all that time, the starter may be burnt out too.  Check if the starter is getting 12V when the start button is pressed.  If the starter is getting 12V but not spinning, then it is the starter.
