Motorcycle Repair: main fuse blowing, brake light switch, wiringdiagrams

Question
I have a Honda CB200T. I can ride it for a few minutes in 1st gear and then 2nd for a little when I come to a stop sign the main fuse will blow.  Got any ideas where I can start.. I know this is hard because it is the electric but I just need somewhere to begin.  Thanks for any help or ideas.  I appreciate it.

Answer
Zayne, from what you describe, it sounds like there is a short in the brake light switch system or the brake light wiring is grounded somewhere.

There is a front and rear brake light switch. Try disconnecting them and see if that stops the fuse blowing. If so, then you have to check the wiring at the rear fender to the rear light and inside the headlight shell or the main harness for other brake light related wiring. Green wire with yellow stripe is the brake light circuit hot lead.
