QUESTION: the winding is from when i start it and in all gears all revs and speeds could it be a clutch bearing fault its done about 40k with no work done that i know of it winds with the revs hi revs hi winding low revs low winding   thanks for responding to question   mars

Answer
When bearing go out they usually rattle, not whine. I would first change the fluids (oil, trans and primary) and see if you still hear it. Whining is usually a gear noise, so it would hve to be either the trans or the cam. I would keep riding the bike and see if it gets louder. If it does then, you would have to go looking for the noise.
Good luck and happy riding
