Motorcycle Repair: 84 magna wont run without choke, vacuum leaks, honda magna

Question
I have an 84 honda magna that i just finished replacing the 2nd gear shift fork on. I had cleaned and rebuilt the carbs about 800miles previous to this. After reassembling the bike from it's surgery, i can't seem to get the thing to run. If i leave full choke on, it will idle, but give it gas and it won't rev past 4k rpms. Let off the choke and it dies. I"ve replaced the plugs, checked for vacuum leaks; and because I'm almost dead certain there is no way all 4 of my new jets in the carbs can be clogged already, I"m stuck...?
anyhelp or direction would be great.
thanks

Answer
Sounds like theres a chance that your engine is full of fuel, or maybe check cam timing. I would start with those jets though. Even if you have only 1 or 2 clogged it may act the same way. Also check to make sure all 4 vacuum slides are free..
