Motorcycle Repair: 2002 honda cbr 600 f4i, honda cbr 600 f4i, cbr f4i

Hello Mr. Panka, I have a cbr f4i and it has been sitting for about three 2 months because of the michigan winter. It does start and run fine but the only problem is that the headlights do not turn on? my friend took my battery out to ride his f4i and then put it back in mine so im also curious if taking the battery out and back might have screwed someting up. I also checked the fuses uder the seat and they were all fine. Is there any other fuse boxes on the bike if you know of? I appreciate you taking the time and reading what I have to say.

Hi Mitch,

I believe there is a ground wire that plugs in to a small wire that comes off of the main battery ground wire. Make sure this is connected given there is one. Otherwise, theres a chance something may have gone bad in the ignition switch itself. If at the time the battery was removed, "ultra blue", "Xeon", or any of the super bright white aftermarket headlight kits will sometimes do damage to the ignition switch..
