Motorcycle Repair: old school, happy holidays, old school

iam looking at building a 1948 harley frame what modern motor would fit into it and would a honda or yamaha v twin work iam 18 and i am stumped

Answer
A harley frame will only fit a harley motor. You can use a more modern motor, but if your looking for old school then I would stick with a old school motor. The problem with using a new motor is you would have to do alot of fabrication to fit the other parts to the motor, like the trans and primary, just to name a couple.
