Motorcycle Repair: 1984 vx700L yamaha, fuse holder, ground wires

were is the fuses for the turn signals located i have look all over the bike and cant seem to find them front turn signal light up the back are dead and the flashers do not work my manual says there are fuses but not were to find them

Matt,

-if your front signals are on then the fuse is okay.

-Fuse holder is located near the battery, possibly above
or to the rear of it.

-Have you checked the bulbs, sockets and wiring
to the rear flashers?

-also check the black ground wires, it may be
a bad ground connection.

-the chocolate and dark green wires are the power
wires to the rear signals, they should have
power when you turn on the signal switch.
The black wires go to a good ground like
the battery negative or bike frame.

-use a test light or multimeter and see if power
is getting to the rear flasher wires.
If it is, check the ground wires, bulb sockets etc.
