Motorcycle Repair: cm400 bolt on hardtail, custom frame work, google

I have a 1980 cm400e and would like to install a bolt on hardtail. I have seen them sold for cb350 cb450 etc.Is there another model with a similar frame that would be compatable with my bike?

You could probably fabricate one
but it needs to be professionally
welded. I don't know of any ready
made bolt on hardtails for that model.
Maybe you could modify the 350/450
model to fit. Try emailing some
shops that specialize in custom
frame work. You can find them with
Google.
