hey i saw you know a lot about atvs and i was just wondering what might be wrong wit my quad, i start it up it idles fine and the reverse light wont go off i even disconnected the cable, whenever i rev it up it bogs up and back fires, i took the carbs off cleaned them out checked if anything was loose and i cleaned them and it still bogs up whenever i rev it up and reverse light is still on, i think its the cdi box but i just wanted to make sure, thank you

Hi George,

I suspect the CDI or a less complex problem in the Neutral light circuit.

Sounds as if the carburetors and entire fuel system may need mor thoroughly cleaned and/or tuned to correct the performance concerns.

I would need to inspect the Raptor to accurately diagnose the problem(s).
