Eagle Repair: Removal of old wiper blades - 1995 Eagle Talon, thick needle, wiper blades

Question
I wanted to replace my wiper blades because one of the two was slightly bent, but I cannot for the life of me get the old ones off. I bought Tridon replacements that came with instructions and I even saw the installation video. It has nothing about removing the old wiper blades. I know it seems trivial, but I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Answer
I will explain how to remove them by assuming that your wiper blades are affixed onto a curve ended wiper arm.

It is very important to first see how the blade is secured onto the arm, THEN read the appropriate explanation, otherwise you could damage the wiper arm or even the wiper transmission.

If there is a tab, you will have to push it towards the balde itself and slide the blade off.

OR

If there is no tab look under the plastic fastener to find a small hole, push inside the hole with a thick needle or a toothpick and slide the blade off.

Hope this helps!
