Hi Chris, just wondering if you know what to do with an divvy xj600s on a K plate, thats been stood outside all winter and now won't start; Regardless of how many times i've re-charged the battery. i've changed the oil and cleaned the plugs, no joy though! the starters fine, the engine just won't kick in. hope you can help.

 The fact that you left it outside all winter did it absolutely no good.

 Start by thoroughly cleaning the carbs and doing a static synch on them.  Make sure they are all pulling together.  A static synch requires serious attention to detail on them.

 Make sure that there is spark on all plugs as well as compression in all cylinders.  The specs are in the repair manual.

Check the fuses to make sure that all of them are good, particularly the ignition fuses.

Start with that and let me know what you find.
