Motorcycle Repair: 1984 Honda 750 Magna, honda 750 magna, model honda

Bill,
I was bringing my bike home from being in storage and along the way the right battery cover with the Honda logo came off. Went over the area I drove several times and can't find it, now comes the struggle of finding a cover for it. Do you know of any websites or companies that still make this part for the bike or something comparable that would fit from another bike or even get a used one, anything right now. Some are telling me discontinued. The bike is in mint condition and looks almost new, want to keep it looking that way.

Rick, check with www.westernhillshonda.com and see if they have it or can give you the correct part number. Honda is the only source for these parts as far as I know. Honda has made so many models/colors that it is difficult for a company to attempt to reproduce them and make any money for their efforts. I think they fit several years of this model.. Honda discontinues making parts after 10 years from the end of production.
