Motorcycle Repair: goldwing fuelpump, wingthings texas, bikebandit com

Hi I have a 87 goldwing aspen. My fuelpump looked like it has gotten very hot. It has melted the rubber on the bottom side. I never checked it before I took apart. I can not see how it goes back togeather . It seems to be missing something on the end with the contacts.
I have tried to find a new pump no one has them they are no longer made. I have talked to Honda and they can give no info. I have talked to 3 dealers and get the same blank responce.
Any help on what I can sub. or where I can find one would be help greatly

Hi Ron,

Right, the fuel pump has been discontinued. You'll likely find one on a dealer's parts shelf, eBay, or junk yard.
