Motorcycle Repair: 94 cbr 600, permanent magnet, honda dealer

I have a 94 CBR 600. The alternator side of the motor has oil in it. Ibought a new oil seal for it but I cant get the alternater magnet or flywheel off. So my question is are those componets pressed on and if they are what kind of puller do i need to get it off?  thanks

Hi Mark,

Get a copy of the service manual. Correcting mistakes is expensive.

Buy Honda's magneto puller (special tool) via your local Honda dealer or try "www.bikebandit.com"

Do not strike or drop the the permanent magnet. This may cause it to become de-magnatized (paperweight).
