Question
hello,
i just bought a 2005 kawasaki ninja 250R. i was told at a shop that under 3000RPM only one of my cylinders is running. it is a two cylinder engine. what should i do? my other question in  winterizing. what should i do and what steps should i take to do this right?  should i have my carbs cleaned before i winterize it? thank you
steve

Answer
As to repairing the missing problem, I am not going to be able to help you. I only work on harleys.
On the winterizing, Start the bike and let it warm up, then shut off the petcock to the gas so the carb will run dry. I would put a battery tender on the battery so it stays charged and it will make it last longer. Fill the gas tank and put some stableizer in it and you should be good to go.
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
