Motorcycle Repair: 1972 fl rear wheel, wheel hub, drum brake

Question
How do I get the rear wheel off of this bike? Has rear drum brake, removed the five lugs off of wheel hub, removed nut on brake side and locking washer, still won't budge.

Answer
Those are a real bear to get apart sometimes. What happens is the brake pad wears the drum and causes a lip on the drum. If you look in the center you will see a small square piece sticking out. It will be at the top, close to the brake line. This is the adjuster for the shoes. Turn it and it will loosen the shoes and then you might still have to pry it off. As you turn it spin the wheel and you can feel less pressure on the drum/
