Motorcycle Repair: 84 Goldwing GL 1200 with clutch problem, goldwing gl, gl 1200

Question
My motorcycle has been sitting up for over three years because the stator needed to be replaced. So now that I've replaced it I find out the clutch is not working. I found that the cup seal on the clutch slave piston was bad and replaced it.I have bleed the line on the clutch several times and I'm getting fluid to come out,but it does not help.Do you think the clutch itself is frozen up and is there a way to fix it with out having to pull the motor? Thanks for your help,G.S.

Answer
Hi Gayle,

It's possible that the clutch needs additional attention.   I suspect the brake system still has air to be purged.

Does the brake lever pump-up? Describe the lever action and feel.
