Motorcycle Repair: Harley bars, control wires, drag bars

own a 2004 fatboy and i'm putting on a set of drag bars (handle bars) with the control wires installed inside the bars.

My question is...are there quick disconnects or will i need to cut and splice existing wires

There are disconnects for the handlebar wires, but it takes a special tool to remove the wires from them. SInce you are changing bars it would be easier to get the tool instead of cutting and splicing the wires. The tool part number is 97361-71.
