Motorcycle Repair: honda cl450e, regulator rectifier, hi lee

Mr, Falcon. Chris Sir, I have a honda cl450e and recentl I have been having problems with the electrical system. I have followed the schematics on the manual made shure that everything was conected and cleaned because I was having a problem With the battery. now it starts but  when I turn on the head light. when I revup the enguine  the head light goes from a dim to very bright, can you tell me what i did wrong TX lee

Hi Lee.
 Have you checked the regulator/rectifier as per the test specs in the repair manual?  Is the battery holding a charge properly?

 It seems to me that there isn't anything really too wrong with the bike.

 Check the output from the stator as well.  Match it against the specs in the manual and see what you find.
