Motorcycle Repair: Low voltage reading, regulator rectifier, stators

HI from Dean.
Bike is a 2003 FLHTCI.
My eng check light came on.
My volts read about 11.
Can you help.

first charge the battery and have the battery load tested. If good then start bike up and check voltage at the battery. Voltage should go up as rpms go up. If there is a drop in voltage or no change in voltage then it is either your stator or regulator/rectifier. I would start with the reg/rec first. Stators do not go out that offen. Johnny
