I have a Honda Nighthawk 650 1983, that will when I turn on the ignitioj, the Tach goes to 7000 RPM.  I have been told that this may be an error code and am wondering where I should look for why the bike wont run.  The spark plugs fire with almost no spark, hurts like the dickens, but wont actually give an ignitable spark.

Has the MC been stored awhile? Can you tell me a little history?

Not sure if that is an error code. Have you contacted a Honda dealer?

Describe the appearance of the spark plugs. Are they wet, dry, black and sooty, new looking?
