Motorcycle Repair: breather kit/air filter, stock air filter, screaming eagle harley davidson

Johnny, I have a couple of questions. I ride a 2002 sportster, 1200, and I have that common problem of excessive oil in the breather. I plan to install a breather kit to correct the problem, but I need to know if a horseshoe type breather kit will fit with the stock breather. My second question is, what is a "free flow" air cleaner, is it more efficient than a stock filter , and would it fit the stock breather. Any help or suggestion that you would give me would be appreciated. Thanks...bob

The free flowing filter is a K&N air filter not a paper filter,. just get a screaming eagle harley davidson air/filter kit. It comes with at K&N filter, you have to buy the breather kit also. but do not run the head breathers to the back of the backing plate of the new air/filter kit, Run the hose down to the frame and tie it off to the frame with a zip tie. And yes the screaming eagle air/filter kit is much better then the stock air/filter kit  johnny
