Motorcycle Repair: 73 Honda cb750k, intak, honda dealer

I was wondering if you know what the valve clearences are for my inline 4 750cc bike.  It is a 1973.  I lost my clymers manual after moving so I am in a rut.  Can't find anything online!  If you could help that would be awesome.  Thanks.

Hi James,

I couldn't find anything on the web either. I think the spec's were .003" to .006" for both intak and exhaust valves.

I would call a local Honda dealer and ask. They'll usually give the specs over the phone. My city library offers service manuals. They don't mind if the pages get oily.

Check the frame and side covers for tune-up stickers.

If you learn the exct specs, please pass it on to me.
