Nissan Repair: TIRE pressure light stays on, alignment shop, tire pressure

Question
I have on 06 Pathfinder and the low tire pressure light keeps comming on.  All tires are at 35 psi when checked cold.  Any idea wht the problem may be?

Hi Sheri -

The computer picks up low pressure readings by how the tire is spinning, so please check each tire for out of balance, or uneven tread wear, bad alignment. Best way to check the latter is to run your hand gently over the tread surface of the tire. If you feel a lot of bumps, then take it to an alignment shop. Also try rotaing the tires.

Of course there is a chance that the snesor is defective but that rarely goes out.
