Nissan Repair: Crankshaft Sensor, crank angle sensor, crankshaft position sensor

Question
I have a nissan almera and the crankshaft sensor needs replacing. The car will not start. How can I start the car to drive it to the Garage? Any tips?

Answer
Mo,

With a defective sensor the vehicle will not start or run.  You could replace it where the car sits since it is only a ten millimeter bolt that holds the sensor on.  That is, unless your car has a distributor.  if it does that would be the crank angle sensor (aka crankshaft position sensor).
