Nissan Repair: 2002 nissan altima, crank angle sensor, shaft sensors

Question
I recently had to take my car in because the check engine service light came on & my would not start.  After cooling for a couple hrs my car would turn on again.  They replaced the crank shaft sensors , it worked for almost a week but this time the car stopped while driving.  Took it back i was told it was a connection that was not put correctly but my car is still stalling a little but has not turned off. What else could be wrong?

Answer
Sally,

If the crank angle sensor was replaced and it was not plugged in properly that could have caused the problem you describe.

Second, I would go to Autozone or Checker and get the computer codes read for free.  Email me back what those codes are.

If the car has not had a turn in several years, like changing the sparkplugs, would cause hesitation and stalling too.  Have a tuneup done if one has not been performed in several years.'

Email me back and let me know if there are any more codes and what they are.
