Nissan Repair: RPM shooting up, carburetor linkage, nissan sunny

Dear Sir

Iam having Nissan Sunny exsaloon 1993 model.My car RPM is shooting up to 4000 rpm & more. When i press the clutch it is still increasing. Please let me know remedy to this problem as it is having quiet often. I have changed carburetor kit but not solved.

I would think the power valve is sticking or the linkage is sticking on the carburetor since you say the engine RPM climbs to 4000 RPMs.  Check the carburetor linkage to see if it is sticking and the throttle cable for binding.  EMail me back if you need more assistance.
