Nissan Repair: xterra timing, nissan factory, compression stroke

My timing belt broke while driving so the camshafts and crankshaft were out of time when I replaced the belt. If I followed the manual to the letter and have the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshafts lined up correctly does that mean the crankshaft and camshafts are all in the correct positions, ie. number one piston at TDC on the compression stroke with valves in correct positions?

If you followed the instructions and rotated the crank and cams to the correct position and lined up the dots it should be fine.  Yes, number one on top dead center and then the cams in their correct position.  I like to use Nissan factory timing belts since they have the lines where the dots are supposed to be...
