Nissan Repair: Car Broke Down, 2 quarts, engine didn

Was driving townbound on H2, tried to turn on the ac, suddenly engine went off after a little clicking sound. Thought could be the oil because the oil signal been on more than an hour while driving. I went up bought 2 quarts and went back filled in. Still engine didn't run. Only sounds of the engine about to start but just died out along with little clicking sound. Came back next day to tow, I saw black spots on pavement fronting the car. Thought could be the oil from last night. I towed to my resident. Next day I put 2 more quarts of oil but didn't notice anyu sign of leaking. Try to turn on the engine but stil only the sounds when an engine about to start nut died out second after. Can you help me.

Can you tell me what model and year of your car is, and also the mileage?

Instinct would lead me to ask you to check the timing belt, however because you said the oil light had been on, perhaps the lifters got blown?

Anyway, let me know what tyhe model of the car is.
