Nissan Repair: Nissan Pulsar 1991, thermo fans, nissan pulsar

G'Day, I have a problem with the thermo fans of my 1991 Nissan Pulsar GL. They do not come on at all. An explanation on how they should work (eg.electrical trail) might help me chase down the problem.

There are several issues that could cause this.

Check to make sure the fans spin freely.

Check the fan relays (easy to swap out the same type relay to see if that works)

The temperature sensor for the fan is on the engine.

If you turn the air conditioner on and the fans come on then you know the fans and relays are good.  It would be the temperature switch.
