Nissan Repair: 1997 nisssan altima, positive cable, happing

Question
Car has a new batter and a new and tested altenator.  However the altenator appears not to be charging the battery and when the car starts and runs, pulling a battery cable off while car is running it dies. Conclsion Alternator not cahrging battery and also tested it with a voltmeter and can't see any charging happing at the battery side. Hence not getting the 14.00 volts on the battery side.

Answer
Paul,

There is a fuse link at the positive cable that is probably burnt out.  There is a wire from the alternator to the battery.  The fuse link is in this line close to the battery.  If it is burnt the wire will be melted.  Solder in a new fuse link and you should be done.
