Nissan Repair: Nissan 200, nissan 200, contaminated fuel

Question
My car stopped running the other day out of the blue. I thought the engine had seized or something. Everything clicks over, starter is good, battery is good, sparks, etc. My guess is that the engine is not getting gas. What suggestions do you have to troubleshoot this? Could it be the fuel injectors? Seems to me that somewhere between the fuel filter and the fuel injectors the gas is not flowing. Let me know. Thanks!

Answer
Kerry,

Check the fuel pressure.  If there is none and the pump is working the fuel filter could be plugged.  Water will trap in the filter and not allow fuel to flow.  If you recently put gas in you might want to check for contaminated fuel.  Email me back and let me know what you find.
