Nissan Repair: brakes, 2003 nissan altima, nissan altima

How dose center cap and drum come off on 2003 nissan altima so i can replace brake shoes? thanks

Hi Mike -

I believe in your model you can just remove the drum. try tapping it firmly with a hammer and it should work free. Spray some libricant where the drum meets the hub and that will help. If it is still hard to separate, get 2 8MM x 1.25 bolts, and screw it into the holes in the drum directly across each other. Keep turning the with a wrench evenly, and then the drum should pop out.
