Nissan Repair: error code p1320, crank angle sensor, crankshaft sensor

Question
I have a 97 altima gxe with keyless entry and startup alarm. I installed used cylinder heads because timing chain guide broke and bent all intake valves. I got the car to start right after i fininshed installing last screw. when i shut it down the car doesnt start up because i have no spark now. tried 3 different distributors (hitachi) new crankshaft sensor, used ecm. this model doesnt have ignition module on throttle housing. Anyway i ran the codes and i get p1320 primary ignition faulty.  can u help me with why i dont have spark coming out of distributor. thanks

Answer
Tony,

If you have replaced the crank angle sensor and the car will still not start you need to look at the coil.  You will need a volt ohm meter and check the signal going to the coil.  If you get switched, on and off voltage, you need to replace the coil.  If not check the new crank angle sensor and the wiring.
