Nissan Repair: Nissian Altima, ethanol content, fuel pumps

Question
My car started acting like it was getting no gas and I was told my fuel pump was bad so I had it replaced now it is starting to do it again could the fuel pump be going bad again. It only started do this after I got some gas from a station I do not normally go to.

Answer
Hi Alicia -

What year is your Altima? The earlier years, fuel pumps get sensitive due to the Ethanol content in the fuel these days. It very well could be the pump, however, although coincidental, could also be a tune up.

How is the vehicle acting? Bogging when you are accelerating up a hill, or need extra speed? Or is there a steady miss, like only running on 3 cylinders?

Please let me know -
