Nissan Repair: nissan versa shimmy, lug nuts, shimmy

Question
Had my front rotors cleaned and adjusted a couple of months ago.  Ever since, there seems to be a shimmy in the front when I am going less than 50 miles per hour.  Smooths out when I go faster.  Feels like I am driving on wobbling wheels! Before I go again to the dealership, can you suggest what the cause might be?

Answer
Hi Diana -

First thing I would do is check the tires. Get on your knees and feel the surface of each tire with your palm, not fingers. If you feel bumps or a lump, then some air got trapped within the treads and the tire needs replacing.

Also check to see if all the lug nuts are tight, being that the shimmy came right after the work was done.

Were the tires rotated? If so, could be out of balance.

Please check these out, hope it helps!
