on my Nissan pathfinder i have spark and fuel sometimes the car starts stays on for about 5 minutes then dies and then after that it won't start again until the next day what could be wrong with it

Hi Mike -
What about during the time the car does not start? What is not happening - spark or fuel? How are you testing for each?

Do you have any check engine light on? If so, then get the code, probably a knock sensor, MAF, or crank sensor.

If there is no check engine light, I would check the ignition module. This is located in the distributor, and usually fails when the engine is warmed up, and will not start the vehicle until it cools down again.
